Watashi ga yonde hajimete kare wa kimashita.
It was not until I called that he came.
その本を読んで初めてそのことを知りました。
Sono hon o yonde hajimete sono koto o shirimashita.
It was not until I read the book that I knew about it.
入院してはじめて健康の大切さが分かりました。
Nyūin shite hajimete kenkō no taisetsu-sa ga wakarimashita.
I didn’t know how important my health was until I was hospitalized.
