Watashi wa kyō to ni kuru to, itsumo jin jayate ra o tazunetaku naru.
When I come to Kyoto, I always want to visit shrines and temples.
おとなしい子供が怒ると恐ろしいです。
Otonashī kodomo ga okoruto osoroshīdesu.
Quiet kids are scary when they get mad.
熱すると水は蒸気に変わります。
Nessuru to mizu wa joukini kawarimasu.
When heated, water changes into steam.
アメリカ経済に目を向けると、非常に順調だ。
Amerika keizai ni me o mukeru to, hijōni Jun chōda.

Verb-てform + しまう
Verb-てform （－て） + ちゃう
Verb-てform （－て） + じゃう
Literally, しまう means “to finish.” Do not be surprised to find this word used only in this meaning sometimes, with no “undesired”-connotation.
Examples
私はいつも本を読んでいるうちに眠ってしまう。
Watashi wa itsumo hon o yonde iru uchi ni nemutte shimau.
I always fall asleep while reading a book.
スミスさんは誰にでも秘密を話してしまう。
Sumisu-san wa darenidemo himitsu o hanashite shimau.
Mr. Smith tells a secret to everyone.
一年後、彼女は外国へ行ってしまいます。
Ichinen-go, kanojo wa gaikoku e itte shimaimasu.
A year later she goes abroad.
遅れてしまいました、すみません。
Okurete shimaimashita, sumimasen.
I am late, sorry.
田中さんは電車の中にかばんを忘れてしまった。
Tanaka-san wa densha no naka ni kaban o wasurete shimatta.
Mr. Tanaka forgot the bag in the train.
ジョンは、その映画を見て泣いてしまった。
Jon wa, sono eiga o mite naite shimatta.
John cried at the movie.
娘はもう、ひらがなを全部覚えてしまった。
Musume wa mō, hi-ra ga na o zenbu oboete shimatta.
My daughter has already learned all the hiragana.

I will make dinner (in advance for the future).

I’ll take the trash out (for who or to what/do).
彼女に気を付けるように言っておきます。
Kanojo ni ki o tsukeru yō ni itte okimasu.
I’ll tell her to be careful.
（あなたはいつも迷子になるので）私がバッグに地図をいれておいた。
(Anata wa itsumo maigo ni narunode) watashi ga baggu ni chizu o irete oita.
(Since you always get lost,) I put a map on your bag.
支払いは済ませておきました。
Shiharai wa sumasete okimashita.
I paid the bill( in advance).
彼女の誕生日のためプレゼントを選んでおこう。
Kanojo no tanjōbi no tame purezento o erande okou.
Let’s choose a present for her birthday (in advance for the future).

Sengetsu, shachō wa Maria ni shinbun-sha no jūsho o shirabete moratta.
